FINDLAY - An Alvada, Ohio, boy was hurt yesterday when the car he was driving went off U.S. 224 in Hancock County's Marion Township and overturned, the Hancock County Sheriff's Office said.

Stone L. Geoghegan, 17, who was thrown from the car, was being treated last night in Blanchard Valley Regional Health Center. His condition was not available, a hospital spokesman said.

Young Geoghegan was westbound on U.S. 224 about 4:30 p.m. near Marion Township Road 215 when the car went off the north side of the road, struck a drain tile, flipped, and hit and broke a utility pole, deputies said.
