Kroger Co., 6200 block of Monroe, robber went to checkout on pretense of purchasing item and as cashier opened register, he reached over and grabbed money, personal papers, cellular phone, and eyeglasses about 9:07 a.m. on March 29. Bandit then fled and was apprehended by nearby construction workers until police arrived.

The Pharm, 5800 block of Monroe, robber went to checkout and as cashier opened register, suspect grabbed $500 in cash and fled about 7:05 p.m. on March 27.
