A sport utility vehicle crashed through the front of a bakery thrift store in South Toledo this afternoon, pinning an employee inside, police said.

Linda Buck, 47, of Toledo, was taken to the Medical University of Ohio Medical Center after the accident about 3 p.m. at the Nickles Bakery Thrift Store at the corner of Hill and Wamba avenues. A store supervisor said Ms. Buck was pushed through an interior wall before she was pinned between the SUV and a wall.

The driver, J.D. White, 67, and his wife, Bernice, 65, both of Toledo, were not hurt, but their daughter said she was going to take them to a local hospital to be checked.

Police said the couple was traveling west on Hill and pulled into the store parking lot when the accident occurred. Mr. White told police he is not sure how the accident happened.

No charges have been filed. The crash remains under investigation.
