One woman was killed and three people were hurt last night in a two-car collision at Collingwood Boulevard and Indiana Avenue, authorities said.

The woman, whose name was being withheld early today, was pronounced dead at the scene.

She was a passenger in a car driven by Reginald Dixon, of Toledo, who was pinned in the wreckage for a time before being taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

His car was wrapped around a traffic signal pole.

Mr. Dixon was driving east on Indiana about 8:20 p.m. when his car collided with the other vehicle, which was southbound on Collingwood, police said.

The other car, with two men inside, was propelled down Indiana, its passenger thrown into the street. Both men also were taken to St. Vincent, police said.
