Two sisters were hurt yesterday when their car crashed into a utility pole in South Toledo after the driver apparently suffered a heart attack, police said.
Olga Miller, 84, of 1560 Charmaine Drive, and a passenger in her car, Helen Sager, 78, of Maumee, were taken to the Medical University of Ohio Medical Center.
A hospital spokesman said she had no information on patients by their names.
The women were traveling north in the 300 block of South Reynolds Road about 7:45 a.m. when Ms. Miller apparently suffered a heart attack.
The car went off the east side of the road and hit the pole, police said.
