UPPER SANDUSKY, Ohio A Wyandot County girl remained in critical condition yesterday evening after a two-car accident on U.S. 30 near Upper Sandusky.

Katherine Slavey, 17, of Sycamore, a passenger in a car driven by Karen E. Hunker, 29, of Holland, was flown to the Ohio State University Medical Center, where she was in the surgical intensive care unit last evening, a spokesman there said. She was the only person hurt, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

The wreck occurred at 8:52 p.m. Sunday, troopers said. A car driven by Coty Krider, 18, of Upper Sandusky was eastbound on County Road 121 and failed to yield the right of way at U.S. 30, troopers said. It collided with Ms. Hunker s car, which was northbound on U.S. 30.

Mr. Krider and Ms. Hunker were treated at Wyandot Memorial Hospital. Troopers cited Mr. Krider with failure to yield at a stop sign.
