SWANTON - A truck driver trying to avoid hitting a line of cars drove off a Fulton County road yesterday and rolled over, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Carl Sekel, 41, of Holland was westbound on U.S. 20A at County Road 5 just west of Swanton at
7:41 a.m. and couldn't stop in time to avoid hitting a line of vehicles waiting to make a turn, troopers said. Mr. Sekel drove off the road and hit a ditch. His truck rolled over in a farm field.
Mr. Sekel was taken to Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon to be examined. He was cited for failure to maintain control, the patrol said.
