Leonard Kettel of Huron handles the machine gun on the plane, which the public can tour at Griffing Sandusky Airport through today.
From tomorrow through Sunday, the plane one of only 14 B-17s still flying will be at the Erie-Ottawa Regional Airport in Port clinton for public flights.
Cost is $395 for members of the Liberty Foundation, which owns and maintains the plane, or $430 for nonmembers.
Passengers can join up for $40 andget the discount for family and friends.
