NORTH BALTIMORE, Ohio - A Canadian truck driver was fatally injured in a weekend wreck when two commercial vehicles collided on I-75 in Wood County, just north of the Hancock County line, authorities said.

Daryl M. Herridge of Keswick, Ont., died at Wood County Hospital, where he was taken after the accident at 8:12 p.m. Sunday.

Troopers with the Walbridge post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said Mr. Herridge was driving south when he drifted into the grass median, then into oncoming traffic, striking a northbound box truck driven by Harrison E. Good, 43, of Rochester, Ind.

Mr. Herridge's vehicle continued off the highway, struck a guardrail, and went into a ditch.

Mr. Good received minor injuries and was treated at Wood County Hospital.

Troopers said the Wood County coroner was investigating whether a possible medical condition may have contributed to the crash.
