Work to limit lanes on exit, Anthony Wayne Bridge

7/18/2006

Emergency repairs will close a lane on a Sylvania Township freeway exit today and a lane on the Anthony Wayne Bridge tomorrow night, the Ohio Department of Transportation announced yesterday.

Work to repair weather-related erosion will close the right lane of the exit from southbound I-475/U.S. 23 to Central Avenue from 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. today and tomorrow, state officials said.

The ramp is part of the detour route for closed ramps in the nearby I-475/U.S. 23 interchange, so the lane closing may cause delays.

At 6 p.m. tomorrow, expansion-joint repairs will close one of two westbound lanes on the Anthony Wayne Bridge. That repair is scheduled for completion by 5 a.m. Thursday.

On Friday morning, repair work will begin at the U.S. 20A/State Rt. 2 railroad underpass east of Delta, requiring daily flag zones between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. The repair work is scheduled to continue through Aug. 4, weather permitting.
