Darlene Scheid of Toledo will be one of the members of this year s Ohio State Junior Fair Board, along with a group of 18 other young adults from communities across the state.

Ms. Scheid is a representative of the Future Farmers of America, an organization dedicated to helping young farmers develop leadership skills, personal growth, and a successful career in farming through agricultural education.

The state s junior fair board is comprised of youths between the ages of 16 and 20 who represent the various youth organizations that participate in the Ohio State Fair each year. Every member serves as an ambassador between their youth organization, the fair, and the general public.

This year s Ohio State Fair will start on Wednesday at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus.
