City, county, state, and federal government offices will be closed Monday in observance of Labor Day. Auto title offices also will be closed.
A list of select services on Monday follows:
Schools
Public and parochial schools and colleges and universities will be closed with no classes held. Owens Community College will be closed tomorrow through Monday.
Businesses
Banks, financial institutions, and banking centers will be closed. Bank Marts in the Kroger stores also will be closed.
Westfield Franklin Park will have regular hours, open until 9 p.m. Most other shopping malls will have abbreviated hours. Individual stores in the malls may have separate hours.
Public utilities
Toledo Edison office and phone service and Columbia Gas phone center will be closed. Service will be available only for emergencies.
Libraries
The Toledo-Lucas County Public Library and branches will be closed.
Mail service
There will be no mail delivery and no window services at the Main Post Office or any of the classified stations or branches. There will be no mail collection and the Bulk Mail Acceptance Unit will be closed.
Express Mail service will be available from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Bus service
TARTA buses will operate on a holiday schedule.
Trash pickup
Trash pickup will be delayed one day all week in Toledo and outlying areas. Ottawa Hills trash pickup will be on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Parking
Meter parking in downtown Toledo will be free.
