Meetings scheduled on watershed

The Ohio Lake Erie Commission will offer four meetings in January for local government officials, planners, architects, and engineers to learn about voluntary best practices for local land use to support economic development and protection of the Lake Erie watershed.

Morning workshops will be held from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Lorain County Community College on Jan. 10, and at the Holiday Inn French Quarter in Perrysburg on Jan. 17. Afternoon workshops will be from 12:30 to 5 p.m. on Jan. 25 in the Governance Room at Kent State University, and Jan. 31 in the Erie County Building in Sandusky.
