Hancock County GOP names Miller prosecutor
2/2/2007FINDLAY The Hancock County Republican Party central committee has selected Mark Miller to fill the remainder of former county Prosecutor Bob Fry s term.
Mr. Miller, who was Mr. Fry s chief criminal assistant prosecutor, was named interim prosecutor by Hancock County commissioners Jan. 4 after Mr. Fry was appointed as Findlay Municipal Court judge.
Mr. Miller, who also serves as Republican Party chairman, recused himself from participating in this week s central committee meeting during which it was decided to appoint him to the post.
His term as prosecutor runs through the end of 2008.
