Owens' Simms named player of the week

Owens Community College s women s basketball player Tia Simms has been named Ohio Community College Athletic Conference player of the week. In two Express wins last week, Simms, scored 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds and 4 steals. Simms made a decisive free throw with six seconds remaining in Owens 58-57 win over Clark State last Saturday.
