Wood County panel to look at 2 rezoning requests

BOWLING GREEN Two rezoning requests will be before the Wood County Planning Commission when it meets at5:30 p.m. today.

In Troy Township, Stanley W. Perry wants to rezone about 20 acres of a 50-acre parcel at the northwest corner of U.S. 20 and Pemberville Road from agricultural to light industrial. Planning Director Dave Steiner said Mr. Perry intends to seek a conditional use permit to operate a fertilizer manufacturing business at the site.

In Lake Township, Campbell Ltd. wants to rezone 4.85 acres on the north side of Woodville Road about a quarter-mile south of Walbridge Road from B-2 general commercial to M-1 light industrial.

D&D Welding & Fabrications Inc., which has an operation just west of the site, plans to rent an existing building on the property to expand its business.
