Counties, lawmakers to discuss budget woes
3/17/2007County commissioners from Erie, Lucas, Ottawa, and Wood counties will discuss state and county partnerships with state representatives and senators from northwest Ohio during a legislative briefing at 11:30 a.m. tomorrow at the Holiday Inn French Quarter in Perrysburg Township.
Tina Skeldon Wozniak, president of the Lucas County commissioners, said in a statement that with a tight state budget and little or no growth in local revenue, it is essential that state and county governments work together closely and cooperatively for the good of our mutual constituents.
