A 13-month old boy was in critical condition at St.Vincent Mercy Medical Center last night after he was found face-down in a plastic tub of water on a neighbor's porch.

Jordan Calhoun, of 2901 Chase St., was found about 1:30 p.m. on a front porch at 512 Albany St., by Tanya Emerson, 21, who was visiting her father, the owner of the Albany Street home. That home is around the corner from where the Calhoun boy lives with his mother, Kathleen, said Toledo police Sgt. Richard Murphy

Ms. Emerson began screaming, which alerted the boy's 11-year-old sister, Alizia, who had been playing nearby. Alizia pulled the boy from the water as another neighbor rushed to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Sergeant Murphy said. It was unclear how the boy ended up in the water, he said, adding that police have not determined if charges would be filed.
