Driver killed in one-vehicle accident
5/8/2007One person died after a single-vehicle accident early this morning at Airport Highway and Old Airport Highway in Springfield Township.
The vehicle hit a parked vehicle and possibly a building about 5:50 a.m. A part of Airport Highway was closed for about 45 minutes in order for Life Flight to land.
The driver was flown to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center and was later pronounced dead. The Toledo Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is not releasing the name of the victim pending notification of next of kin.
