Katie Holmes says she enjoying motherhood so much she's ready to have more children

(Posted 8:01 p.m.) LOS ANGELES - Being the mother of Tom Cruise's baby daughter has been so much fun that Katie Holmes tells "Entertainment Tonight" she's ready to have more children. "We're having the best time, it's so amazing," Holmes, 28, said of the year she and Cruise have spent largely out of the spotlight. She gave birth to the couple's first child, Suri, in April 2006.

(Posted 3:18 p.m.) A Fulton County man was arrested today in the 1991 murder of his wife, whose body was found in the trunk of her car nearly two weeks after she vanished. Thomas Zich, 60, of 1900 U.S. 20, was indicted by a Lucas County grand jury today on one count of murder in the strangulation death of his 27-year-old wife, Maryjane.

(Posted at 12:40 p.m.) BOWLING GREEN A 17-year-old North Baltimore boy is to be charged with delinquency in connection with vehicular assault and driving with a suspended license stemming from a May 7 incident in which another teen was thrown from the trunk of his car and seriously injured. The incident was initially portrayed by some witnesses as a hate crime because young Cobb is African-American and the suspect is white, but Mr. Atkins said he found no evidence to support that. He said the youths gathered at the scene were known to each other.

(Posted at 10:37 a.m.) Jack Kevorkian, the retired pathologist dubbed Dr. Death after claiming he had participated in at least 130 assisted suicides, left prison after eight years Friday still believing people have the right to die. A smiling Kevorkian said the release was one of the high points of life as he paused near a white van that was waiting for him. He was accompanied by 60 Minutes correspondent Mike Wallace and wore a blue sweater, striped shirt, striped tie, gray slacks, white socks and black shoes.

(Posted at 11:45 a.m.)EAST CLEVELAND -- The mayor has ordered the city's firefighters to cut grass and trim shrubs while on duty to help the service department care for parks and other public areas. "We have 54 firefighters, and they have a lot of downtime," Mayor Eric Brewer said Thursday. "Instead of sitting around the station, they'll be assisting us as we beautify the city."

Lucas County Common Pleas Court Judge James Jensen sentenced Latrel Brown, 25, this morning after Brown s defense attorney, John Thebes, noted Brown s critical testimony in the week-long trial against his former co-defendant, Tyrone Johnson, 28.
