Seneca County park features re-enactment

FORT SENECA, Ohio - Visitors can witness early Ohio life during the first Eastern Woodland Native American Gathering and Pre-1840 Re-Enactment Camp from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at Steyer Nature Preserve, 5901 North County Road 33 in Seneca County's Pleasant Township.

The event will feature Native American drumming and dancing and early U.S. craftwork and cooking.

Donations are requested, because the gathering is a fund-raiser for the Steyer preserve, one of four parks in the Seneca County Park District system.
