Tractor-trailer overturns in Lake Township

A tractor-trailer rig went off the road, overturned, and ended up in a ditch early this morning on the Ohio Turnpike near the I-280 exit in Lake Township, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

The driver whose name was not released, was not injured in the crash, troopers at the patrol s Berea headquarters said.

The driver, was eastbound on the turnpike about 6:05 a.m., when he apparently lost control of the semi.

Traffic was not affected. The accident is under investigation, troopers said.
