Metroparks

t Happy Trails 5K walk and run to benefit Metroparks trail projects, 9 a.m. June 16 at Wildwood Preserve's east entrance, Central Avenue near Corey Road. Walkers are also invited to participate. t Maumee River Canoe Float off-site, 1 to 5 p.m. June 16. Explore the State Scenic Maumee River by canoe. Co-sponsored with Ohio Division of Natural Areas and Preserves. For ages 13 and older. t Father's Day on the Canal: Dads ride for free, noon to 4 p.m. June 17. Providence Metropark, Kimble's Landing, 13827 U.S. 24 West. Treat dad to a free ride on "The Volunteer," a mule-drawn canal boat. At the Isaac Ludwig Mill, see the millers saw lumber and grind grain into flour. Free.
