LaSalle, Mich., man killed in crash

LASALLE, Mich. A 44-year-old man died this morning after his pick-up truck rolled over several times, causing him to be thrown from his vehicle into a nearby creek, according to the Monroe County Sheriff s Office.

Bradford W. Perry, of LaSalle, was driving eastbound on Yagerville Road about 5:30 a.m. when he ran through the stop sign at Telegraph Road, traveled off the north side of South Otter Creek Road, and sideswiped a guardrail.

The vehicle then hit some railroad tracks and became airborne for about 135 feet, rolled over several times, and struck a garage.

Authorities found Mr. Perry, who was not a wearing a seat belt, in Otter Creek. Deputies said it is unknown whether alcohol was a factor in the accident.
