GENOA - State Rt. 163 was closed to traffic in both directions for about 2 1/2 hours yesterday east of State Rt. 51 near Genoa after a tractor trailer overturned about 10:40 a.m., injuring the driver, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Steve Marlett, 33, of Ferndale, Mich., who was hauling a load of drywall and pallets for Four Star Transportation, of Melvindale, Mich., was treated at St. Charles Mercy Hospital.

Troopers cited him for operating without reasonable control.

Mr. Marlett, who was driving east on Route 163, went off the right side of the road and overturned in the ditch, apparently because of driver inattention, according to the patrol.

The road was reopened to traffic by 1:15 p.m., according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
