1 injured, 1 killed in 1-car accident in Grand Rapids
7/9/2007GRAND RAPIDS, Ohio A Lake View, Ohio, man was killed and his wife was hurt late last night when a car hit a tree along Front Street in this Wood County community about 20 miles southwest of Toledo, authorities said.
Arvil Bradley, 86, the only passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene, the Wood County sheriff s office said.
Opal Bradley, 52, the driver of the car, was airlifted to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, where her condition was unavailable this morning.
The Bradley car was westbound on Front near the downtown business district about 9:55 p.m. when it missed the curve at Beech and struck a tree, sheriff s deputies said.
