Authorities identify boy who drowned in Eells Park quarry

BETTSVILLE, Ohio Authorities have released the identity of a 15-year-old Toledo boy who apparently drowned Friday while swimming in the Eells Park quarry,

authorities said.

Santos Garcia, 15, of 3018 Chase St., was pronounced dead at Tiffin Mercy Hospital, where he was taken after he was pulled from the water about 6 p.m., according to the Seneca County sheriff s office.

He was at the park with family members, according to the sheriff s office.
