GENOA The westbound lanes of the Ohio Turnpike between I-280 and State Rt. 51 were closed for about an hour Monday after two tractor-trailer rigs collided just southwest of here, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

There were no injuries.

The semis were westbound on the rain-slickened turnpike about 7:30 a.m. when they collided. They then came to rest on the roadway, blocking westbound traffic, troopers at the patrol s Berea post said.

Traffic was directed to the shoulder. It returned to normal about 8:30 a.m., troopers at the patrol s Swanton post said.

Genoa is about 10 miles southeast of Toledo.
