FINDLAY A 17-year-old Arcadia, Ohio, driver was hurt in a rollover accident Tuesday night on U.S. 224 about three miles east of this Hancock County community, authorities said.

Elisha Hummel, who was driving a car, was taken to Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, the Hancock County Sheriff s Office said. A hospital spokesman Wednesday morning said that she had no information about a person by that name.

The accident occurred about 9 p.m. just east of County Road 248 in Marion Township.

Miss Hummel was eastbound on U.S. 224 when she swerved to avoid hitting an animal that was crossing the road in front of the car. The car then went off the road, struck a ditch off the north side of the road, and rolled over, coming to rest on its top, sheriff s deputies said.

Miss Hummel was cited for failure to control, deputies said.

Findlay is about 40 miles south of Toledo.
