Woman killed in Huron County one-vehicle accident

NORWALK, Ohio A 54-year-old Mansfield, Ohio woman died last night after a one-vehicle accident on U.S. 224 in Huron County s Richmond Township, troopers at the Ohio Highway Patrol said.

Ann Sanney was taken to Willard Mercy Hospital, where she died from injuries caused by the crash, troopers at the patrol s Norwalk post said.

Ms. Sanney was eastbound on U.S. 224 about 6:45 p.m. when she drove off the north side of the road and struck a tree, troopers said. She was wearing a seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
