Course open for women in agriculture

1/31/2008

BOWLING GREEN - Registration is still being accepted for a six-week risk-management course for women in agriculture.

Annie's Project, first presented last year in Ohio in Wood and Ashland counties, is being offered this winter in six counties, including Wood, Defiance, and Erie.

It is designed to empower women to be better business partners with a focus on financial skills, record-keeping, communication, and other critical skills needed to manage a farm.

The class meets one evening a week for six consecutive weeks. The registration fee is $60. For more information, go to http://ohioagmanager.osu.edu.
