  • Matt Nicely and his father, Larry, both of Perrysburg, ask Robert Radcliff, a wildlife officer supervisor, what it takes to become a wildlife worker during an open house yesterday in Findlay.

John Daugherty, district manager of the wildlife division, talks to Chris Baker of Bryan.

Craig Sherman of Van Buren and his brother, Mark of Findlay, voice their concerns to state biologist Mike Wilkerson. The Ohio department of Resources Division of Wildlife sponsors such open houses annually at sites throughout the state to provide residents an opportunity to take part in the wildlife management process. Comments received from the open house at the district wildlife office in Findlay and those held simultaneously in Akron, Athens, Columbus, Huron, and Xenia are considered during the formulation of fishing, hunting, and trapping regulations for the coming year.
