SUV driver hurt in U.S. 23 crash

A Temperance woman was injured seriously Saturday when her sports utility vehicle rolled over on the U.S. 23 overpass at Sylvania Avenue in Sylvania Township, authorities said.

Leslie Wunder, 32, was flown by helicopter to Toledo Hospital, where she was listed in critical condition last night.

Ms. Wunder was southbound about 2:40 p.m. when her vehicle veered off the left side of the highway. She over corrected and struck a guardrail on the right side of the highway, said troopers from the Ohio Highway Patrol s Toledo post. Her vehicle rolled several times, troopers said.

She was wearing a seat belt, troopers said.

The crash remains under investigation.
