FOSTORIA About a foot of water flooded a south-side neighborhood Wednesday morning after a water main on Clark Street broke.
Police noticed the water and reported the problem to the water department about 6:50 a.m.
Fostoria Safety-Service Director Bill Rains said crews were working to pump the water out of the way so that they could repair the 12-inch main that broke.
"It s a pretty good-sized trunk line," Mr. Rains said, adding that one commercial building was without water but no residences were affected by the problem.
