7-Eleven, 3749 Upton, inspected April 2. Critical violation: Dairy creamer cups held in ice at 44-45 degrees. Refrigeration required to hold at 41 degrees or less. Icing of product must be done better or provide creamer that does not require refrigeration. One noncritical violation. Inspector: Debbie Dacquisto.

Bakery Unlimited, 4427 Secor, inspected April 3. Critical violations: Baked goods display case is holding potentially hazardous foods at 45-56 degrees at time of inspection. All PHF must be held cold at 41 degrees or lower at all times. Repair case immediately and do not use to store PHF. Multiple fryers in the back room. Fryers are not under any type of hood system or fire suppression system. Remove fryers or install a full hood system with fire suppression. Repeat violation. Six noncritical violations. Inspector: Kelly Sattler.

Sofo s, 5400 Monroe, inspected April 2. Critical violation: Temperatures of self-serve soup at 106 degrees. PHF must be maintained at 135 degrees to limit bacteria growth. Soup discarded. Deli meat found without proper date marking. All PHF kept longer than 24 hours must be properly date marked. Four noncritical violations. Inspector: Brandon Tester.

Dunkin Donuts, 2709 West Central, inspected April 2. Critical violations: Quat sanitizer in the wiping bucket was low. Quat sanitizer should test at 200 ppm to properly sanitize. Yogurt in the small glass door cooler was at 44 degrees. All PHF must be held at 41 degrees or less to prevent the growth of bacteria. Adjust the cooler temperature accordingly. Marco s Pizza, 3423 Lagrange, inspected March 31. Critical violation: Observed ranch dressing packets with labels stating keep refrigerated, at temperatures ranging from 43 to 65 degrees. To limit bacteria growth, adhere to labeling instructions. PHF in cold holding must maintain 41 degrees or less. Product discarded. Repeat violation. Five noncritical violations. Broadway Food Center, 1503 Broadway, inspected March 31. Critical violation: The quat dispenser at the three-compartment sink is not working properly. Employee is manually adding quat, dispenser leaks. This is not acceptable. Contact a service company for repair. Four noncritical violations. Inspector: Kelly Cipiti.

Marco s Pizza, 1419 South, inspected March 31. Critical violations: At time of inspection, person in charge was not familiar with the facility s procedures or equipment. Managers must be properly trained for each store s procedures and equipment. PHF being held in the top prep cooler section at 49-53 degrees. These food items must be at 41 degrees or below. No sanitizer bucket was available at the time of inspection. Cloths were laying out. During all hours of operation-before food prep begins, set up a sanitizer bucket to wipe down all work surfaces and for storing wet cloths. Observed poor handwashing by employee who was handling food. Observed pizza delivery person smoking in his car while delivering food. It is not acceptable to smoke in the car while delivering food.
