An Oregon woman was hurt yesterday when the car she was driving was struck by a train as she tried to beat it to a gates-equipped CSX railroad crossing in East Toledo, police said.

Michelle Donbrosky, 27, of 1849 Boxelder Rd. was treated at St. Charles Mercy Hospital for a minor leg injury, officers said.

Ms. Donbrosky was driving west in the 2500 block of Consaul Street about 2 a.m. when she tried to beat the train. She drove around a lowered railroad gate and the train's engine clipped her car on the passenger side, police said.

She was issued a citation for railroad crossing, officers said.
