CAMPBELLSBURG, Ky. - A Findlay man was killed and his two passengers, both also of Findlay, were hurt yesterday when their car crossed in front of an oncoming truck on I-71 in Henry County, about 40 miles northeast of Louisville, Kentucky State Police said.

Wilburn R. Owen was pronounced dead at the scene by the Henry County coroner.

His passengers, John W. Owen and Dorothy Owen, were taken to the University of Louisville Hospital. Their conditions were not available last night.

The car was struck by a tractor-trailer being driven by Marvin S. Dunavent of Shelbyville, Tenn., who was not hurt, troopers said.

None of the Owenses was wearing a seat belt; Mr. Dunavent was, troopers said.
