Toledo man dies in car crash
6/22/2008A Toledo man was killed early Sunday when the car he was driving struck a pole in the 4600 block of Dorr Street, authorities said.
Robert Begell, 23, of 3556 Kershaw Ave., West Toledo, was pronounced dead at the scene, Toledo police said.
Mr. Begell was westbound on Dorr, east of Reynolds Road, at a high rate of speed at 3:05 a.m. when he passed another vehicle, lost control, went off the left side of the road, and struck a pole, Toledo police said.
