Emergency repairs reduces northbound I-75 to one lane

Northbound I-75 is reduced from three lanes to one approaching Monroe for emergency bridge joint repairs, the Michigan Department of Transportation announced.

The work began at about 2 p.m. Tuesday between the Luna Pier and South Otter Creek Road exits. Traffic delays are likely, and MDOT urged motorists to consider alternate routes. The closest alternate is M-125.

The repairs are expected to continue into Wednesday.
