North I-75 job likely done today in Monroe County
6/25/2008LA SALLE, Mich. Bridge repairs that closed two of three northbound I-75 lanes in southern Monroe County will likely be finished today, although probably not before morning rush hour.
The Michigan Department of Transportation started emergency repairs about 2 p.m. yesterday on expansion joints that support a bridge near the South Otter Creek Road interchange (Exit 9).
State officials urged motorists to consider alternate routes. The closest alternative is M-125, which can be reached by exiting northbound I-75 at Exit 2.
