Two hurt in motorcycle crash near Fremont
6/25/2008FREMONT Two Sandusky County residents were seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash Tuesday night on State Rt. 53 southwest of this county community, the Ohio Highway Patrol said.
Craig Dayringer, 37, of Fremont, the driver, and Christina Fegly, 32, of Green Creek Township, the passenger, were flown to the University of Toledo Medical Center, the former Medical College of Ohio Hospital, with incapacitating injuries, troopers at the patrol s Fremont post said.
A hospital spokesman said Wednesday morning she had no information about people by those names.
The crash occurred about 7:10 p.m. in Sandusky County s Ballville Township, troopers said.
The motorcycle was southbound on the road when it started to pass another vehicle, drove off the right side of the road, and struck a street sign, troopers said in their report.
The victims were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash, the report said.
Fremont is about 30 miles southeast of Toledo.
