North Baltimore official closer to taking job with Fostoria

FOSTORIA North Baltimore Village Administrator Kathy Healy moved closer to being hired as Fostoria s safety-service director Tuesday.

Councilmen heard a first reading of an ordinance to hire her to replace Bill Rains, who was fired last month by Mayor John Davoli.

The board also questioned her proposed starting salary of $72,000 a year, which is what Mr. Rains was paid after three years on the job.

Ms. Healy said yesterday she was deciding whether to accept the Fostoria job if offered.
