2 are hurt in ATV collision in Henry County

HAMLER, Ohio - Two people were injured when two all-terrain vehicles driven by brothers collided in Marion Township south of Hamler in Henry County last evening, authorities said.

Catlyn Forster, 18, of Continental in Putnam County, a passenger on a four-wheeler driven by Bryan Verhoff, 21, also of Continental, was taken by air ambulance to the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly the Medical College of Ohio Hospital, in Toledo. Ms. Forster was admitted to the medical center, but no information was available on her condition last night.

Mr. Verhoff was taken to the Henry County Hospital, Napoleon, but he was not listed as a patient there last night.

His brother Brock Verhoff, 21, of Continental, apparently was uninjured or refused treatment, according to the Henry County Sheriff's Office.

Both four-wheelers were on Henry County Road 10-A at Road B about 5:30 p.m. when the collision occurred. Additional information was unavailable, pending an investigation.
