Man hurt in ATV crash in Wyandot County
7/7/2008UPPER SANDUSKY, Ohio A Marion, Ohio, man was in serious condition Monday after he was hurt in an all-terrain vehicle crash two days before on State Rt. 294 near the two communities, authorities said.
Ellery Maze, 36, the ATV driver, was listed in serious condition at St. Rita s Mercy Medical Center, Lima, Ohio, a hospital spokesman said.
The accident occurred about 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Wyandot County s Mifflin Township.
Mr. Maze was driving on a hill in the 13700 block of Route 294 near Mifflin Township Road 9 when he lost control of the ATV. The vehicle went off the trail and struck a tree, sheriff s deputies said.
Upper Sandusky is about 50 miles southeast of Toledo.
