2 fire departments due Homeland Security aid

Two Northwest Ohio fire departments are to receive about $140,000 through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security s Assistance to Firefighters grants program.

The Miller City Volunteer Fire Department in Putnam County is to receive $74,038, while the Sycamore Volunteer Fire and Rescue in Wyandot County will get $66,500.
