Cyclist, 14, hit, injured by van in Bryan

BRYAN - A 14-year-old boy remained hospitalized yesterday after being injured Sunday when his bicycle collided with a van near here, authorities said.

Keegan Mock, of Bryan, was taken to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, where he was listed in serious condition yesterday.

The crash occurred about

3:25 p.m. on State Rt. 2 in the hamlet of Williams Center in Williams County's Center Township, sheriff's deputies said.

The boy was southbound on Route 2 near County Road 10A when he swerved into the path of a van driven by Sue Taylor, 57, of Hicksville, Ohio, deputies said.

Ms. Taylor was cited for driving with an expired vehicle registration, deputies said.
