2 critically injured in Toledo motorcycle crash
8/11/2008A man and woman were seriously hurt early Monday when the motorcycle they were riding struck the rear of a car while southbound on the Anthony Wayne Trail near Woodsdale Avenue, police said.
The driver, Michael J. Yeo, 32, and his passenger, Angela Wortman, 24, were taken to the University of Toledo Medical Center, formerly the Medical College of Ohio Hospital.
Police said Mr. Yeo and Ms. Wortman were listed in critical condition. Hospital officials didn t immediately release their conditions Monday morning.
The motorcycle was southbound in the right lane about 12:20 a.m. when it attempted to switch lanes and struck the rear of a car driven by Patrick Taylor, 75, police said. Mr. Taylor was not injured.
