Toledo area football players earn awards

Toledo sophomore offensive lineman Kevin Kowalski was named to the 2008 Academic All-MAC team. Junior linebacker Beau Brudzinski earned honorable mention.

Bowling Green s Cody Basler, Craig Rutherford and Jimmy Scheidler were named to the fi rst team. Nick Iovinelli, Marques Parks and Sinisa Vrvilo were honorable mention.

The team is voted on by the league s faculty athletic representatives.
