BE CAREFUL ON THE WEB: Conficker Work to unleash its payload

Media coverage has been extensive on a worldwide worm (or Trojan) that is due to unleash its payload tomorrow (Wednesday, April 1).

IT management takes these potential malware very seriously.

Here's what YOU can do to help:

- Internet at the Blade is for business use

- Never go to a untrusted web site

- Never open an email attachment from an unknown or untrusted source

- Never click a link inside an email

It is imperative that personal use of the Internet is reduced in order to protect the organization from potential malware that downloads on the back of a web page. These are 'silent' killers and, as we have already experienced, can seriously disrupt our ability to create and distribute the newspaper.
