The Toledo Symphony performs the magical scores from the Harry Potter films. Guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite Potter character.

Rare Earth, known for million-selling classics such as “I Just Want to Celebrate,” “Losing You,” and “Get Ready,” brings its classic Motown rock and funk sound to MCCC.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town…Maybe; 7:30 p.m.; La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater

It's Christmas Eve and Santa is ready for his yearly trip – or is he? In this play presented by MCCC's QuagMeyer Productions, Santa cannot remember what holiday it is, and only his trusty elf, Jingles, can help him figure it out before it's too late.

Featuring the comedy and music from the hit movie, the Official Blues Brothers Revue – sanctioned by Dan Akroyd and the John Belushi Estate – rocks the house with blues, gospel and soul.

MCCC partners with the Monroe County Library System and a “Blues Coalition” of community co-sponsors to kick off a month-long celebration of the blues.

A Cappella Group elmoTHUMM ; 7:30 p.m.; La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater

elmoTHUMM has won the Midwest Harmony Sweepstakes, been voted Best Vocal Group in the Midwest and received praise from the Oval Office for a performance for George W. Bush. Features such tunes as “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” and “I Can See Clearly Now.”

Jeff Black and Don White are the yin and yang of contemporary folk music. Black is influenced by southern country blues and rock. White's influences are the New England folk scene and traditional storytelling. Guests are encouraged to wear black and white.

The Saline Fiddlers; 7:30 p.m.; La-Z-Boy Center, Meyer Theater

The Saline Fiddlers' energetic show includes music, song and dance from American folk fiddle, bluegrass, jazz, Western swing and Celtic music. They've given more than 1,000 performances nationwide, including three at the White House.
